Influencer Marketing, Absolutely Unbeatable

What are every businesses biggest needs in advertising? Well you’d probably say price as the first, reach as second, and quality of people as the final one. If you said any of these you would be 100% correct; unfortunately in recent years these have become more and more difficult to find.

One big issue is that there have been very few ways to advertise effectively to a lot of people. The ways businesses could do this were TV Ads, PPC Ads, and content marketing, at least those are the main ones.

TV Ads run into this massive issue where anyone short of a public company struggles to be able to afford something like this. While effective, you have to create the advertisement which can cost hundreds of thousands or millions, and then you need to buy time which doesn’t exactly run cheap.

Next is PPC Ads, which run into an entirely different problem; this is the problem of poor quality customers. Now don’t get me wrong, PPC Ads are great and especially Google has perfected it as best they can, however they still drive useless traffic to you about half the time. Most customers do not convert on PPC Ads and are also seen as a bit spammy at times, I wish it were different but that is just the truth.

I mean just look at the graph above! That is not just one site saying this either, as a business owner I and many others can confirm that PPC is costing more and more as places like Google pit us against each other.

The last is content marketing, the issue with this is that it is incredibly time consuming. You first need to become adept at writing great content which can take years to totally master, or you have to hire someone expensive who can. Either way this is not exactly ideal for a small business. Then after you write your great content you need to have extensive knowledge of how to market it, well beyond what PPC would be.

Influencers not only have the fan base of a massive TV show in some cases, but they also have their trust. When your favourite celebrity tells you they like something, aren’t you just a little bit tempted to try whatever it is?

Influencers not only have the trust of their fanbase, they also have their attention. People will actually look their favorite influencers posts so you know you’re getting 90% of their followers watching and looking at their content (Your Ad). Whereas, 86% of people don’t bother actually watching a massively expensive TV Ad according to thegaurdian.

Influencer Marketing is growing exponentially and cannot be ignored for your business. It truly is the wave of the future as far as advertising is concerned, and I haven’t even gotten to the best part, It’s so cheap! You can easily get someone with 20,000 loyal followers to create a post or story for 100$. You just can’t match that with high engagement anywhere else.
